Car Owner

Find someone to share your empty seats with - reduce stress of driving alone and cut your cost of fuel by upto 75%

How does it work:

  1. Search for Passengers - Set up from and to address and start time of the trip.
  2. Contact available passengers / respond when they reach out and set up the carpool
  3. Carpool together and take the cost of fuel share from the Passenger
  4. Rate the passenger - This helps make PoolCircle safer and everyone benefits.

PoolCircle Best Practice

  1. Set up your MyCircle based on your comfort level. However, a very narrow MyCircle setting might reduce your chance of finding carpools
  2. Ensure you have a full Profile, along with your photo and social profile. This improves your Safety Rating and helps you find more rides (we will not share your social profile with anyone)
  3. Review the details about the person before you set up the ride - The Trust Points, Average rating and the Number of ratings received etc
  4. Set up your search as early as possible before the trip time. This increase your chance of finding rides

CarOwner Guidelines:

  • Never use your mobile phone for setting up the carpool or for any other reason while driving.
  • Be mindful of the time and factor in the traffic delays when you decide on a pick up time.
  • Decide on a mutually convenient pick up point when you call the passenger.

Passenger

Dont haggle with unreliable autos and cabs. Carpool with someone you can trust - it is cheaper and more enjoyable.

How does it work:

  1. Search for Car Owner - Set up from and to address and start time of the trip

  • Arrive at the pick up point well in time. It is never fun to wait in a car with vehicles honking behind you
  • Check with the car owner about smoking in the car
  • Carry the required change to pay the car owner

Ex: Use this to find daily carpools from your residence at Koramangala, Bangalore to your office at Electronic City, Bangalore

On Demand

Choose this for your one off trips. Heading for the airport / want a drop off to a cricket match.

Ex: Use this to find a one off carpool from Embassy Golf Links, Bangalore to Bangalore Airport.

Intercity

Choose this for your long distance commutes. We use a larger radius to search for carpools when you use this.

Ex: Use this to find a carpool for your Bangalore to Chennai travel.
